About Us

Digital Peers International is a registered Non-Governmental Organization that is committed to develop effective ICT Skills and Capacities in the vulnerable group (children, youth and women) in Nigeria and West Africa.

Mission

DPI will develop ICT competencies in African vulnerable groups (children, youths and women), through exposure to and acquisition of necessary tools for self-development, economic empowerment and global competitiveness.

Vision

To build an effective capacity in Africa vulnerable groups (children, youth and women) as a necessary ingredient for sustainable development and economic growth.

It is a two-week camp with full boarding facilities (feeding and accommodation) for young people ages 8-18 years and teachers from all over Africa.

Capacity Building

DPI is an NGO focused in developing children, youth and women to be skilled in ICT, innovative & creative, to be relevant to themselves and the society, make them independent and solving technical challenges in the environment.

Digitest

DIGITEST is an annal IT-based Creative Camp and Competition where young people are taught the value and importance of ICT and Digital Technology, how to use ICT to produce solutions to challenges they face.

For 20 years, Digital Peers International (DPI) has been actively involved in promoting the participation of children ages 8  to 18 and their teachers in Information & Communication Technology (ICT) through the Annual creative summer camp and competition DIGITEST. With over 400 participants yearly, DIGITEST equips her participants with the right tool to become active players in the Tech world.

The group identifies and develops talented and gifted children in ICT for social and economic development. DPI also aims at building a virile capacity for the nation by identifying gifted young people and exposing them to ICT, which are necessary ingredient for sustainable development.

We are privileged to be hosted by the Government of Akwa Ibom state and our host school Top Faith International School, Mkpatak, Akwa Ibom state from 13th to 21st of August, 2022.
